“DIO” Small Private Enterprise has made a specialty of turned woodworks for almost 20 years. It was early 90th when the company entered the market and since that time DIO has striven to bring the very best in customer service shifting from a single-item production to a mass manufacturing. All this made it possible for us to become a national wood turner known to every stair-producer in Ukraine.

Currently “DIO” Small Private Enterprise is among the members of the Kyiv Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The company’s strategy is to offer one-of-a-kind items of the highest craftsmanship and quality at a fair price within construction supermarket chains.

The company operates on a complete production cycle basis, i.e. from purchase of raw materials to manufacturing of finished products – stair balusters, pillars, etc. With own dryer we can control the timber quality. Products are manufactured on computer controlled machines. Mass balusters and pillars make 90% of produced items. These woodworks are usually turned, whether in full or partially, and sometimes decorated with along-the-grain or crew-shaped milling.

Companies manufacturing wood stairs and furniture items and private persons are among our regular clients. We offer to our clients both standard designed mass varieties of balusters and pillars that are under active sale within construction supermarket chains and lots of other less commonly used, though still eye-catching, customer-made modifications, as well as exclusive options to be designed from individual scratches, photos and drawings of our clients.

Some 25 the most popular varieties are posted on our site. A rule of thumb states that there is no fundamental difference between the larger half of items suggested, especially for design-similar models. Bearing the above in mind we put all reasonable efforts to bring our product range to optimum. We will keep your drawings and program in our database upon performing woodworks for you once. To cut the price of finished products a client may provide own blanks, as well as select grinding options, whether lather-turned or by free-hand.
